Deck of cards created using digitized hand-drawn letters, numerals, and symbols.
I created this type treatment as a response to Natalia Ilyn's "The Love Bucket," that discusses the idea that designers are born and not made. As much as I loved Natalia's writing, I personally saw some holes in the argument she was making about fear and love in graphic design. So, for my response, I physically cut some holes into her argument using quotes from the movie Donnie Darko. Specifically the scene in the movie where Donnie is asked to place a hypothetical situation on a scale of fear and love and refuses based on the ridiculousness of the situation.
